Highly selective recovery of Au(III) from wastewater by thioctic acid modified Zr-MOF: Experiment and DFT calculation

A novel adsorbent (UiO-66-TA) was presented by modifying metal-organic framework composites with thioctic acid. UiO-66-TA were characterized by fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), thermogravimetric (TG), Brunner-Emment-Teller (BET) measurement and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), which indicating that it had excellent morphology and specific surface area. The adsorption performances of UiO-66-TA for Au(III) were studied.

A novel multinuclear zinc complex Zn-Bet-Tf2N for electroplating wastewater treatment using forward osmosis technique

The unavailability of a suitable draw solute constrains the advancement of forward osmosis (FO) technology. Here from a custom-built ionic liquid betainium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ([Hbet][Tf2N]), a multinuclear zinc complex of [Zn4(bet)10(H2O)2][Tf2N]8 (Zn-Bet-Tf2N) has been synthesized via a one-pot complexation reaction for electroplating wastewater treatment via FO processes.

Lipid Profiling and Microstructure Characteristics of Goat Milk Fat from Different Stages of Lactation

Goat milk at different lactations show varied lipids distributions, which are potentially dietary influencing factors for the health of human consumers. Herein, the effects of lactation stages (colostral, transitional, and mature stages) on lipid profiling and microstructure of goat milk fat (GMF) were investigated. A total of 359 species of triacylglycerols (TAGs), 27 species of diacylglycerols (DAGs), and 10 classes of phospholipids (PLs) were identified using high resolution tandem mass spectrometry (HR-MS/MS). Of importance, goat transitional milk presented the highest levels of MUFA (29.51%) and lyso-phospholipids (7.95% of total PLs) among these three different lactations.
